First of all, lets pray and thanks to our God ALLAH SWT who has been giving us some mercies and blessings so we can
attend and gather in this virtual place in good condition and happy situation.
Secondly, I would like to welcome you all to the 5th Sustainability Practitioner Conference on Sustainability Issues and
Covid-19. And just flash back of the SPC, For remembrance, 1st SPC it was in Malang, collaborated with University of
Brawijaya, 2nd SPC was in Solo with University Sebelas Maret, 3rd was in Lampung with University of Lampung, and 4th
in Bali collaborated with Udayana University, in Bali.
The topic of sustainability issues and covid-19 are important to be discussed and solved. As we all are aware, the problems
we are currently facing is so complex and huge, it is becoming multidimension crisis, that we need today is to collect a wide
range of knowledge that reaches beyond our expertise. In that sense, I am now very happy to be with the distinguished
participants from across the nations, including Asean and Asia, Singapore, Malaysia, Bangladesh, phillipines , as well as
from the private sectors, research institutes, international organizations, and governments to universities.
With your cooperation, in this conference, I would also like to encourage discussions on the relationship between
sustainability issues and Covid-19. That is why The objective of this conference is to develop a mutual understanding
on various aspects of sustainability issues and covid-19. The issues are such as sustainability accounting and reporting;
CSR, CSV, Public Sector Sustainability; SDGs; Climate change and energy policy, including public health
Finally, I would also like to thank to Dr Ancella and Dr Ali Darwin, Dr. Chaerul Djakman and all the OC members for your
collaboration and generous help so that the conference become possible.
